This policy explains what personal data Foreanswer collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect little.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and Google account ID when you sign in with Google, plus the businesses and members you add.
- Business data: your store's public pages and catalogue, the facts and preferences you give us, and the guides we draft.
- Usage and security data: sign-in sessions, IP address and basic request logs, used to keep the service secure and working.
- Emails you send us, including free answer check requests.
- Visits to your answer pages: we log requests (including from AI crawlers) to measure indexing and citations. We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
We don't collect your customers' personal data, and we never access your store's orders or customer lists.
Why we use it
- To run the service you signed up for (contract).
- To keep it secure and fix problems (legitimate interest).
- To bill you and meet tax and legal duties (legal obligation).
- To reply to you, including about your free answer check.
Who we share it with
- Cloudflare: hosting, database, email delivery and backups.
- Google: sign-in, and Gemini for drafting and measurement.
- OpenAI and search-data providers: to run measurement questions. We send buyer questions and public product facts, not personal data.
- Our payment provider, when billing is on, which processes payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see your full card number.
We don't sell personal data. Some providers process data outside your country; we rely on their standard contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Account and business data: while your account is active, then deleted within 90 days of closing it.
- Measurement answers: kept up to 12 months for history and trends.
- Security logs: up to 30 days. Backups expire after 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected]; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
foreanswer.com sets no cookies. The app (app.foreanswer.com) uses one essential sign-in cookie and a short-lived cookie during Google sign-in. No analytics or advertising cookies.

We'll post changes here and email account owners about important ones.
